the coin gods must be crazy ! Those people in the heritage auction went nuts!!!

I don't feel bad anymore about not upping my bid on the beatiful 74 S arrows quarter in 66. The heritae value index said the coin had a value of 5000 to 6250 and it sold for just over 10,000 including the juice. Wow! I thought it might only be the red copper crowd that went off the deep end the last few days, wrong. It was the nice eye appeal for the grade crowd [which normally includes me] that went ga ga, but not me at these prices. Guess i'll see in long beach if this was temporary insanity or a real bull market. I still can't get over the 1909 p indian in 66 red going for 12,000 even if it does upgrade to 67 it's not wirth that much.
The President claims he didn't lie about taxes for those earning less then $250,000 a year with public mandated health insurance yet his own justice department has said they will use the right of the government to tax when the states appeals go to court.

As has been said, the money that would be going into the stock market is now going into collectables(coins). All they know is eye appeal.

Don, if your right, and this trend continues i'll sell my entire collection in the near future and start over again just like when i sold my collection in 1989 and waited for the bubble to burst before i started collecting again.
