Locating SMS DCAMs

Have been wondering - how difficult is it to find a PCGS certified Kennedy SMS DCAM? image

  • Dunno bout Kennedy's but dcam roosies are easy. All you need is a big fat checkbook. the 68dcam went for 5500 at FUN

    I'm getting ready to list a 67 PR65 Dcam, but to answer your question, they are very difficult, particularly the 1965. The pops will reflect this.

    Its hard to find well made SMS Kennedy Halves even in high grade DC. They are rare and

    very expensive. we are talking up to between 7-10,500 for top grade in 1965,1966 & 1967 DCs.

    Most of the top grade examples are impounded in the top Registry sets for the duration.

    I would like to tell you that I have rolls of the above coins , ungraded.............but I dont.

  • dheath, how much for the 67sms 65dcam? might can save you some listing time and fees or do some horse trading. have 2000+ pcgs & ngc camsand proofs in stock and 5 or 6 hundred ready to go off next week. pm me

    .....PCGS lists 125 DCAM's for all three years so it shouldn't be that difficult to find one. it's not surprising that one turned up in this thread----thanks Don!!!image all denominations for the 3 years only total 199 DCAM's. buy if you can find them.
