Heritage had this at their table, at Long Beach, about a year ago. It was pointed out to me, but surprisingly, the table attendant was somewhat rude and his unpleasantness caused me to loose interest. Who owns it now?
I like it- I just wanted to buy it from a Dealer who at least pretended to care.
Are we completely sure here that's a PO-1 coin and not a misattributed die trial strike? I've seen a lot of worn down gold, but nothing that matched that...

I think it's really neat. With the recessed design the worn surface gives it a different effect.
I'm going to have to find me a raw one - it's a good coin to be able to hold.
