Was anyone fortunate enough to have met John J. Pittman? Do you own any Pittman coins? Would you be willing to pay a premium for one?

    Yes, I met him...he was a super-nice guy to me and my family. He discussed my exhibit with me (I was 13), so about 9 years ago maybe. I wish I had known then whatI know now about him...Fortunately I know his daughter, Polly, who is also a great lady and I hope to talk with her about her father's adventures someday...

    Irony of ironies...After posting on this thread last night I was thinking about Mr. Pittman. My boss started telling me stories about him which were interesting and lo and behold, John Jay's widow and son in law walked down the aisle. That was pretty cool...Just wanted to share that...
