If their site doesn't go up before bidding ends, they better waive the extra fee for placing a bid thru eBay or accept faxed bids.
Heritage sucks.
Thankfully I have a list of lot numbers, so I guess I'll look over the lots one last time on eBay and exclude most of those lots. If it doesn't get fixed soon, I'll be pissed and them, but probably not nearly as pissed as the consigners.
No matter as too much money is chasing too few coins and it's stupid money at that!
True. However, I have 6 lots on my list (out of ~30 total) that I would be willing to pay at least 50% more than the last high bid I had recorded earlier tonight. There is one lot that I would pay 2.5X its current bid (and it is already WELL over retail).
For the consignors sake, let's hope Heritage has someone working on their site right now.
Like the dept of public works deciding to reasphalt the highway at 3pm the day before the 4th of July!!
they got to be kidding, maintenance!
When the site comes back up, you can set up your Telebid ID in your My Profile section. Then you can access the bidding system with an 800 number and place bids there.
Heritage really does go the extra mile most of the time. It's just a shame I live in Texas and get hit with an 8.25 % tax, not to mention the buyer's fee. That equates to a 23% premium, over and above what is usually fair market value. Needless to say, I have to want the coin pretty darn bad to do business with Heritage. I suppose I could resolve this matter by aquiring coins valued at over 1000 bucks and thus avoid the tax.....yeah....that's the ticket!

You are correct,,,,,that's what happens when you have a company run by senior management with double digit IQ's who are managing those with single digit IQ's, not a pretty picture.
