Do you ever think of picking a day to sell your collection?

Not that I'm in that situation now, but was thinking that I may just pick a day in the future and sell off my coins and then move on to something else. Like a veteran football player who plans to leave the game after a predetermined number of seasons. Anyone else think about how they'll leave the game?

  • NEVER!!! Mine are packed away in a treasure chest I've been putting together for the Grandkids. I would love to see their faces when they unpack that chest, but I'll be dead and they will have pried the key from my cold dead hands. LOL

Never. Just like asnooker, I am waiting for the day the pry the key out of my hands and say OMG!! While I share the high level purchases I don't even mention raw coins that come in. Most time what does not get graded never gets seen. They (my family) believe that there are three ammo boxes that contain "The collection". Won't they be suprised to get the noe about all the whitman albums and the raw materials I have in safe keeping. Some body tell me what thier faces look like when they open "the hoard"! :-)

It'll be featured on a future ebay (or its descendent) as an "unsearched hoard"
