has anyone subscribed to the online version of coin world here since Mr. Gibbs said the sight is up

I haven't done it yet but i'm going to. When my print subscription ran out i decided not to renew for 2 reasons. 1. I don't like something that says in big letters coming to my home this person collects coins like coin world. 2. old coin worlds never seem to get tossed in the trash or recyceled, they just pile up like old copies of national geographic.
The President claims he didn't lie about taxes for those earning less then $250,000 a year with public mandated health insurance yet his own justice department has said they will use the right of the government to tax when the states appeals go to court.

I thought about it, but it's too expensive for me to do. Not that I can't afford it, but I can think of other things I'd rather spend $50+ on.

Something I would like Coinworld (as well as all the other numimatic periodicals) to do is release a CDrom or DVD version of back issues with a good search engine. I would love to have all those back issues on the computer so I can clear up the stacks of old papers that get me into trouble ever so often.

Mr. Gibbs. If you are listening, or if Russ can put a good word in for me, perhaps you can call me nextimage

I think this would be a popular item.
  • I've been out of the office for much of the week, so I must be missing the joke. I'd be happy to call, but I have no number. Besides, if I called, I'd have to ask for the number of the lady in your signature. image

Mr. Gibbs, yeah, that was a joke going around for a while.

If I could get the number of the woman in my sig line, I wouldn't give it out to anyone.

As for the CDrom/DVD version of CW back issues? Any possibility?

  • Lanlord: I know some in the company have discussed the possibility of offering back issues of Coin World on CD-ROM, but I don't think we have anything planned. Right now, we want to start offering back issues online, maybe publishing an additional five years' worth of issues every year.
