Help with proofs

I have a few 1963 proof sets. They are leaking air and are tarnishing. What should I do??

Check them for doubled dies first - plenty of doubled dies in 1963 proof sets.

take them apart and sell them as singles.

Could you elaborate on which coins specifically to look for doubled dies? I have several of these sets myself, but I'm not quite sure where to focus my hunt. Thanks.
