Heritage auction question

WingsruleWingsrule Posts: 3,010 ✭✭✭✭
I'm checking out 'My Bids' list on Heritage, and in between some of the 'closed' bids is a link that says 'buy now'. When you click on it, it takes you to the home page.

Any idea what this is for? I'm interested in one of the coins with the 'buy now' label.

I believe that's one of their "last chance" coins. Means it didn't sell at auction, so it's now available for purchase, but subject to prior sale.

    Wingsrule,

I believe the lots that feature the "buy now" option are probably ones that did not meet the sellers' reserves and which are now available for sale at those reserves.

The database is probably updating. If you know the lot number search for it in the auction archives and the fun show auction.

Now it says 'not sold' where it used to say 'buy now'. Maybe it was on the block as I was checking???

How do you get to this 'last chance' thing?

Auctions then look along the left. Click on the lot number from "my bids".
