I was at the show today too. I had to set up my display "Proof Coinage of the 1940'S". Come take a look at it. I sold 1 coin and bought nothing! Many dealers had nice coins, but it was way out of my price range. Sometimes the cheapest coin in the case was $1,000. The I tried to buy some bust halves in AU50. One guy wanted $250 for each. I told him I bought one last fall for $180 then asked if there had been some kind of big run up. He told me he paid $200 for them. Another dealer wanted $340 for one in Au58. I bought one for $230 in the same year and grade at a show in Florida last Fall.
Tonelover, I saw your company there RCNH. Were you there?
I'll probably be back Saturday. Then I'll be there all Sunday at the front desk.
I saw your display. Very impressive! I picked up a few very undergraded PCGS and raw early Washingtons today, and they weren't cheap! Everything is fairly pricey here, but I'm happy with what I bought. Tomorrow I'll be shopping for Mercs. I wish I knew who from the forums is going to be around. I''d love to meet anyone who is going to be at the show.

We are finite beings, limited in all our powers, and, hence, our conclusions are not only relative, but they should ever be held subject to correction. Positive assurance is unattainable. The dogmatist is the only one who claims to possess absolute certainty.

Aren't they always? Overpriced relative to what?
