Interesting thing about that one is that I had eMailed the seller as soon as he listed and offered him $15 to close early. He refused. That'll teach him.
Russ, how many of the AH Kennedy's do you have? I have one (and only one) that I thought looked nicer than this one and PCGS graded it MS64. I can't argue with it becuse I'm not sure exactly what they look at. It sure looked great to me. I will continue to look for them because they are a variety and I like collecting that type. If you outbid me, that's fine. I'm glad you introduced me to this coin. Thanks.
Yea, but the PR62 does not have a spot on it. I still can't figure out why it's a 62?? Looks like some of the 66s I have. Must have been a bad day at PCGS. BTW, great snipe... If you can only get those two cent coins that cheap!!!
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!
Most likely hairlines. I have some PR64s that look like 68s. They are 64s because of massive hairlining that only shows up when the coin is held at exactly the correct angle. Straight on, even under loop, they look great.
Russ. there is currently an AH Kennedy on Ebay, I believe and MS 67 or 68 by NGC. Why isn't it drawing any interest? Seems fairly priced by book and published values.

If the photo is close to reality, it's a 65 or 66. That's why I only offered him $15 for it.
A better score was this one I BINed for $8.50. It came in today, and it's a 68.

I noticed an NGC 67 or 68 AH currently going on, but no bids. Why? It's way below PCGS value.

As of this moment in time, 58.

The PCGS price guide values don't reflect reality.

<< <i>Hi Russ, the photo didn't look all that good to me. What did you think? Probably a 63 or 64. What did you think. >>
Really, deep down inside Russ is hoping for a 61 so he can have a lower pop 1 then I have!
If I wanted to do that, all I'd have to do is submit one of those ghastly coins I got from you.

Do you have a link? Don't worry, I won't snipe it.
