That bumped me down to #19. Wow, I really don't even deserve to be on the same list with a set like that! image

  • "Yep", all I can say is "WOW".

Edited to emphasize "wow" in capital letters.
  • Thanks to all of you for your kind comments. I've had the unselfish help of MANY other collectors to this point in my collecting, foremost being Marc Schoenen who has given hours and hours of his time helping me locate key cards for my collection. More than any of these individual cards, or even the sum of these cards, I treasure the friendships I have established in recent years. Cards come and go; friendships last a lifetime.

I'm not knowledgeable enough to know how to put scans on the set registry, but would be happy to scan and email a scan of any particular card upon request.

Also, to clarify, the 1961 Koufax 10 and the 1961 Spahn 10 are actually leader cards from that year. I'm not sure why they didn't show up as multiple player cards (like the 1973 Johnny Bench). It's a bit misleading.

  • OK I can be a Lemming too: WOW!

Now Excuse me while I drool profusely at the thought of owning several of those cards.....
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass... it's about learning to dance in the rain.
  • Bob,
That is an amazing run of vintage PSA 10 cards! Are you actively collecting the hall of fame set, or just listing some cards you have?
  • An absolute beautiful run from a very nice and classy gentleman. Again I'd like to thank him for the help he has given me with some blue chip material.
I collect the 1960 and 1961 Nu Card issues. I also enjoy the 1959 Fleer Three Stooges.
  • My main collecting focus is PSA 10 Hall of Famers. Of course, there are many HOFers that have no cards graded 10 from the years they were active players. At some point, I'll likely look for 8s or 9s of those. I'd like to fill out this set as the years go by. Any help will be appreciated.
