Just got back from the Bowers auction...

I left Atlanta at 9 am and made it to the Bowers auction in Orlando tonight. A few observations:
1. Wow, the Pennsylvania Buffalo Set went for crazy money. That was great entertainment. A nice Stella also brought some nice cash.
2. The free supper is always a nice addition.
3. I actually bought something too! It was a Morgan dollar in 64...Paid about bid. A fairly nice piece. I'll post a link if I can find it.
4. From what I heard, it went better than the Superior auction for most...
5. Also, a dealer was complaining about inconsistent grading recently from PCGS... He seemed quite concerned. Whereas, elsewhere everyone else was content in the AM After-Montgomery era...
Anyhow, it was a great time, but the auction still has a good 2 hours left...I'm tired...
Hope to see y'all this weekend!
