Question about PCGS & NGC on ebay

I have a 1996 Silver Eagle MS69 that was graded by NGC. I want to sell it and was looking on ebay for price comparisons. I see the MS69's graded by NGC are going for around $40ish to a little higher. Now I look at PCGS and the prices for the same coin is in the range of high $100's to as much as $300. Why is that? Is NGC that bad or am I missing something.

I would be better off sending it to PCGS to grade and sell it then for more then triple the NGC price. I was hoping someone could give me some insite.

It is partly the reputation of PCGS with moderns and the perception that they grade more conservatively which would theoretically mean that a NGC MS69 might be only a PCGS MS68. You can try crossing it over, but I would think your odds of getting it into a PCGS MS69 holder are a bit low.
