post auction software?

GeomanGeoman Posts: 2,491 ✭✭✭
I didn't know there was such a thing. I received an email stating I had won several auctions, when in fact I hadn't. I only bid one one of his auctions, unsuccessfully. Then a day later I get an email stating I had won this and that, and please send $xxx.xx to him for payment. After several emails, it is now cleared up. But do any of you use "post auction software?" And how reliable is it? I guess it is to save on time.

  • I use shooting star, it is a great program for sellers especially if you sell a lot of items. I used to have trouble keeping up with 8 to 10 listings at once. I used to keep track of everything with pen and paper but this program does it all for you and it is alot faster. There are a few different programs out there. This one it downloads all the info straight from ebay email addresses and everything. It would be hard to send the winning bidder email to the wrong person with this program unless he put it in manually.

Here is a link to it if anyone wants to try it. Free Trial
