Are 1963 FBL Franklins that hard to find?

I've been looking at Ebay auctions for 1963-P MS64/65 FBL Franklins graded by PCGS or NGC and have seen very few. Is this issue that hard to find?

Thats about the same as 1961-62.
There is a ugly one at dlrc for $72 if you need one bad.
Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
63P MS65FBL's are EXTREMELY hard to find. Every once in a while you'll see and MS64FBL being offered by fairtraderz. The 63 MS65FBL that I got to complete my set took me about a year and a half to find and I got it from fellow board member Ronyahski. If anyone can find this puppy for you it's him.

I'll agree with you conditionally Lucy. 60P in MS65FBL is marginally difficult, though not nearly as difficult as the 60D. You can find a 60P pretty readily and it usually goes for under $200 in MS65FBL. 61P and 62P are very tough in MS65FBL - both coins have a population under 100, and both will top $1000 most of the time. As for non FBL, they can range in the $150 to $200 range depending on quality. I have a 1962P that's an absolute knockout, and were it not for a very unfortunate gouge right on the bell line, it would be a gem of gems in my opinion. 63P is an odd duck - in MS65FBL very very difficult. However in MS65, I've seen them go as low as $30-$35. Talk about an undervalued date!!!
