Baseball Card Shops in the Southeast -- Need Help

I am searching for baseball card shops with vintage inventory in South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida. If anyone has any recommendations, please let me know. Thanks.

  • Sounds like you are you going on a major grits run!

I think there is a pretty good one in Casselberry, FL. north of Winter Park, both burbs of Orlando, just off Hwy 436. It's been a few yrs. Maybe someone has more details.
  • Not familiar with many shops in the area that deal primarily with vintage cards, but there are a few dealers in SC that deal with equipment and autographs. One of which advertises in SMR. The Hilton Head and Myrtle Beach areas have some shops that have fairly good inventory, but nothing dealing primarily in vintage. One shop in the mall at Myrtle (located on the Strip near the Pavillion) had a good bit and pretty wide selection of low-grade vintage the last time I was there, but he wanted top dollar for everything.

  • I'm familiar with the one in Orlando. I've been in the store a few times. It has been a few months since i've been in there but I would say they are mostly new stuff. They do have lots of common boxes but not much vintage.

If you are ever in Snellville, GA...go to J&J's Sport Section. They are the guys at the nationals that have all those darn Atlanta Braves payroll checks. They do a ton of business (alot of modern graded) and were the guys who tried to sell that all PSA 10 86 Fleer set months ago (it was cosigned to them). Anyways one item of note: PSA slabed a picture of the owners new born son in a slab and graded it as a gift to him.
