This isn't ordinary junk. This is a special 3 "coin" tribute set junk. The regular 24 kt. micro-coated slugs go for $19.95 each, but the tribute slugs are silver. Nothing like 34 bids to drive the price past what the national mint charges every day. Can you imagine the seller looking at his "new" 1933 double eagle; then hoping to unload it without getting killed and he ends up making a profit? Would never happen that way for me.

The Philadelphia Mint: making coins since 1792. We make money by making money. Now in our 225th year thanks to no competition.

Are these junk pieces even worth that?
