Instead of all these stupid Set Registry Specials

Instead of all these stupid set registry specials, why don't they just drop the price of grading per card so that people will not only grade the high valued cards, but also the common cards that people need grading to complete their sets?
I would think that there would be more people getting grading done if they would do this.

specials are a good marketing and PR tool, and even though i only took advantage of the
very first one, i like them; especially the 2 for 10 vintage football special special now being contemplated for the last 2 weeks in January (BJ, Joe........... you got the memo right??)
Ref PSA Ad for NFL Experience SPECIAL
In PSA's own words,
"Celebrate the Super Bowl with our fantastic specials and exciting events.
Here's what you can expect:
Special NFL Experience Grading Offer - Submit any two sportscards for grading for ONLY $10. Turnaround time is 15 business days guaranteed. That's not all. There's no minimum quantity or limit."
My interpretation of the ad is that cards of any sport may be submitted, not just football...Can anyone confirm this??
And........ this WAS NOT what Murcerfan was mistakenly refering to.
I was simply trying to use the power of suggestion to encourage PSA to extend a reasonable offer to set registrants (whom don't live in San Diego) wanting to grade out some "cheap" football commons.
I really doubt psa is ever going to grade vintage baseball for $5 apiece.
besides, what exactly do vintage baseball, basketball, hockey or non-sport cards have to do with the NFL experience?
I understand the offer you were kind enough to quote is the ON-SITE San Diego special, NOT a mail-in registry special.
Now how about a priceline.com approach??
Let's see.......... I've got 312 football commons to grade and will pay.......um......how about.... $5.13 each with 23 day turnaround (psa can accept or decline my "offer").........yeah right.
Hey murcer I'm with you I can send in 500 or so....bueler, bueler, anyone, anyone.
