Anyone bidding on the Bowers coins online??

Seems like there has been active bidding on the Heritage coins but little activity on the Bowers or Superior auctions. Anyone bidding at the later 2 sites??

B&m sucks. I found a coin in their e-shop I was interested in but it had no picture but said.

Request an Instant Image between the hours of 9:00am-4:30 pm EST, Mon-Fri. Simply email al@bowersandmerena.com with your name, address, phone number, and the coin you are interested in. The photo will be emailed to you as soon as possible.

So I did and the e-mail I got back said they are going to put pictures for all coins in the future so they can't do individuals now.

Have not won anything for a while from B&M so they quit sending their catalog. Placid may have a point.

I bid on a '41s Walker PCGS65 but was quickly out-bid. I prefer the Heritage auctions- theB&M scans aren't nearly as good as the Heritage scans. Plus the Heritage auctions have the auction archives feature with scans and prices realized.

Happy New Year !!! In my opinion the photos of the coins in the B&M auction always look better than they do in person.This happened to me once and I will not let it happen again.On the other side the images that Heritage post make most of the coins look worse than they appear in person.Another fact is that many people flew to Dallas to view the coins.Many of the bids in the Heritage sale are active because the coins have been seen.Were you able to go to Dallas?
