Is it me, or does this 56 Mantle have the thinnest side borders I've ever seen? Even PRO should have rejected this chop shop bad boy! Or at least given it a "t" [trimmed] qualifier.

Perhaps it is the borderless refractor version?

Left to right there are barely any borders left -- so sad.

Mantlefan - You obviously haven't seen too many PRO graded cards. Those borders can be a whole lot smaller.

Sooner or later thay will be gone. That is ridiculous. How can they grade a card trimmed that bad.

The seller stated very clearly that this card is Very hard to get into a PRO 9 holder......I guess that's why they had to trim it down to make it fit.......

That's too funny. I can picture the scene at PRO -

Pro Grader #1: Nope, still doesn't fit. Trim a little off of the right side now.
Pro Grader #2 (cuts right side of card and hands it back to #1): Should I take a little off the top as well?
Pro Grader #1: No, that was a little too much on the last trim. I'll just stick it in this penny sleeve to make a nice fit. Now roll the dice.
Pro Grader #2 (rolls dice): A five and a four. Guess this one is a PRO 9. By the way, why do these dice only have fours and fives on them?
