1942 ngc proof 67 merc dime older holder deep mirrors!!!!!!

cameo obverse but would not get the designation due to the toning

looks much better in person as toned proof coins do not photograph well at all

I believe the term fishing lure was coined by Spooley over on the registry forum when having fun with the Merc heads over there.

Michael the coin here is a different one than the one you posted over at NGC isn't it ? Both look killer to me especially the one you posted over there. Maybe put a shot of it up here also.

Hey Bill. Thanks for bringing those Off Topic threads up again. Looks like a few people had some Fun in them. A little side note on those is that a couple of folks here in Oregon refer to Mercs as Lures when I see them in person. I beleive one guy even called me a Fish Head last time I saw him.
