Anyone have info on Boone 35/34 commem?

I have been wondering if this was minted between years of 34-35.
Also if someone has the mintage figures on these that would be appreciated. What would be the going price for the P mint one in pcgs ms67. Granted it can vary but just a ballpark price for a toned one with original surfaces?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Net Mintage for the 35/34 Boone:

    P - 10,008
    D - 2,003
    S - 2,004

The Mint was authorized to coin 600,000 Boone Commemoratives which they decided to spread out over several years. While coining the 1935 series the Mint was reminded that, by law, commemorative coins must carry the year of the event they commemorate. This resulted in the halting of production and the year of commemoration being added to the coin as well as the year struck.

This information was taken from "United States Commemorative Coinage" by Arlie Slabaugh, 1963 Whitman Publishing Co.

The aforementioned book, I feel, is a must have for any classic commemorative collector.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers,

    Bob

    stman,

Wholesale on such a piece woud probably be in the $1350 to $1500 range. I would expect a retail price of roughly $1600 to $1900.

Thanks for the great info, One of the good things about this board is you can ask a question about coinage and almost certain someone will give an informative answer.
