Crappy coin show report and pic of my one and only newp (Hard Times token).

Well, this morning I braved 30 minutes of hydroplaning down I-5 surrounded by idiot drivers who probably shouldn't be allowed behind the wheel even in nice weather, and hit the Greater Tacoma Coin Show.

Same dealers I've seen at the last couple shows I've been too, and I keep telling these guys bring your 1964 proof sets! Slim pickens for those, nothing to buy. No Walkers on my list, no luck finding the 1869 Two Cent piece I've been searching for.

There were about a dozen tables with, of course, the usual hundreds of REALLY shiny Morgans. Mr. Oven Baked was there again, but I think his skills are deteriorating. The "rainbow" morgans he had this time were ugly compared to the one I bought from him a while back.

The vast majority of the graded stuff was either NGC or ICG. One dealer had ONLY ICG. Very little PCGS to be seen. Only saw one PCI and one ACG.

One dealer did have a great selection of AU and UNC IHC's, many blazing red. Pretty, but I have no idea what to look for so they could have been waxed for all I know.

Basically a nothing show for me, but I did snag a nice Hard Times token.

It's an L34 in VF. Nice, original coin that hasn't been screwed with.
