Beautiful pastel toning on 55 to 64 Proof Jeffs

Here are some pics i promised to post. Sorry for the pictures but had to get rather unusual angles and lighting to see the toning. These are the 59 proof. The coin is in a PCGS PR66 holder. I cut it out and sent it in myself so I know the toning is real.

Now for the 62. It is much wilder than the 59 although much harder to photograph. Also the reverse of this coin is dcam under the wild toning. The obverse may be cam, dont know because the toning is too wild.

Awesome toning. Love the pastels. You should get Coppercoins to do a picture for you, he might be able to work some magic

I've got 2 62's with the same irridescent toning in to PCGS right now. I'll put pics up when they come home. Great coins, and very difficult to photograph. I think you did well. That first pic of the 62 looks just like they do in person. They have the same appearance as the surface of a bubble blown in direct sunlight. Very cool.

Very nice! They look original to me. Everybody that collects proof Jeffs should have one like that!

Im using an MVCFD87 Sony. Real easy for me to mess with. The camera uses a 3.5 inch floppy. Using fine pix, aprox 1.2 mgpxl, you only get six pics per floppy, but it is real easy to put in the computer. Also once I got the white balance set to indoors and the exposure right for the lighting, it became fairly easy to photo cam and dcam proofs and gold coins plus silver morgans. I dont take many pictures of toned coins so still havent gotten it quite right. Thanks to all for thieir input.
