Michael
It might come back with a fingerprint
Kameo Koinage LoL.
Beautiful coin, where did you find it?
Michael
well mike i lucked out some time ago with the merc in cameo
i guess it was being at the right place at the right time or just plain lucky i guess!!
i think there might be some more out there not lots more and maybe even less looking as deep as this coin on the obverse and with the original album toning this coin is really uncommon
after looking at many many proof merc dimes over the years i have never seen one as cameo AND nicely album toned as this coin!
but it just goes to show you if you look you will find but it might take you 25 years like me!!........lol
unless maybe you go to every show like 50 shows a year and all the auctions 50 or so and look and also
be first in line for every new merc proof dime deal!! then you might find at least one? or more? in less than 25 years!

for me after all is said and done if you work with real dealers that are true numismatists and love coins and are in it for the long haul and have a proven track record in coins and have experience
for me this is the best way to obtain coins
unless you can go to all the major shows and auctions and have hundreds of contacts and do this on a daily basis!!
these dealers know the market and can wade through thousands of coins to come up with the one or two great ones!!
and of course it does help even more that you the end user know what you are looking at!!
now as per the dealer thing as above from my experiences laura and george at legend qualify as true numismatic dealers!! with a long term interest in coins and here for the long term
