Set weighting for 2002 coins.........????

The set weighting for the circulation strike modern gold commems has been updated to add the Salt Lake Olympics coin. This coin with a population of less than 30 (correct me if I'm wrong) in MS70 has a weighting of ONE!! Does this seem right? Is there something I'm not taking into consideration? The only other coins with a weight of one in this set are the '86 and '87. These have very high populations in high grades. I must be missing something.

    The way I understand it is that it's not just grade populations, but also things like underlying mintages, acquisition difficulty, market value, etc. In other words, it's a judgement call based on multiple factors.

    Whether or not that judgement is sound is a subject for debate.image
