TAGZ & the crockroach box. True story.

Yes, I know I misspelled the word "crockroach" but the censor-nazis don't believe you should be reading a word found in the dictionary. So I could not post w/o altering the spelling.
Seeing the post about Haynes going from TAGZ to CU reminded me of something that happened last November.
I am not making this up.
If any of you were at the Santa Clara show you may have seen a guy selling wood & glass covered boxes [about the size of a small book] with "preserved" crockroaches and other large bugs. I am not sure he was a dealer but he was walking around trying to sell this stuff to other dealers.
Anyway, I was looking at TAGZ unpriced display of high end coins for about 10 minutes while 3 TAGZ guys "oooed & ahhhed" looking at these giant crockroaches in the box. I was ignored and thought to myself if I were the boss each one would be fired. Maybe they WERE the boss? That afternoon I spent enough to buy a new Camry, but not at the TAGZ table.
Customer service is / was not a priority for TAGZ [same can be said for many other dealers].
BTW, if you were at the Santa Clara show please mention if you saw the guy or if you bought one of the boxes which I believe I heard him say $45.

Man - I wish I had known this while I was in college at South Florida! - We had so many CUCARACHAS in our dorms that I'd be a millionaire right now!
Bytheway - that's the way you have to spell it to beat the spellcheck gestapo.
They still got me! LOL
Those weren't "cucarachas", they were palmetto bugs. We don't have "cucarachas" in Florida. They scare off the "turistas".
