Silver is at $4.87 bid with a $4.90 ask do you have all your silver SAE's?

With the price of Silver slowly creeping up like a thief have you done anything to take advantage of the posible gains and profits like buy a ton of SAE's or other US or Canadian Silver Coins for there Silver over numismatic value?

No, but I do have 9 100 oz bars I'm sitting on with two more in the mail...

No I still have two hundred ounce bars from when silver was $5 a ounce about 10 years ago

I had some bulk silver and sold it. I'm not going to get caught up in the hype. I'm going to purchase coins I really like and if the market for metals goes up, then I'll not get the profit. If it goes down and the prices of the coins I like collapses, then I'll still have coins I like. It's tempting, of course. ANd it did accelerate my purchase of a 1908 NM $20 coin in case gold kept going up, but now I'm done with gold. I'll wait on it. And silver is still not really moving.

Yes silver has been a dog for many years. Some of the Silver Gods are saying 6 to 7 dollars an oz for silver maybe this year. This we will have to see.

I have been selling all of mine as well - let the others on ebay take the risk - in my description I say it could be at $5 pretty soon -

Getting rid of my generic and focussing on a few top end.

I heard somewhere that if you ciollect something, you really don't need more than 20 of it at one time - I am starting to feel that way.

Wait a minute!

I have a $1000 bag face value (actually two $500 face value bags) of nice circulated walkers mostly VF and better which means 2000 of these lovely ladies. Now that is more than 20 of them but I love them all! I consider tham a store of value and a nice numismatic core holding as well of popular numismatic collectibles.

As far as SAE's, I have three of them, two belong to my daughters for their birthyear in 1985, well no matter had to give them 1986 SAE's (no matter might give them an incentive to fib on their ages when they get older).

The other is a gift from a great fellow coin collector and that is it for me!!!!!

Now if you get me started on my mercs ...............
