2 things I learned searching 2002 mint sets.

1. If a coin has a mark on the front, it will probably have a mark on the back.
2. If a coin is perfect on the front, it will definitely have a mark on the back.
P.S. I found lots of super P mint state quarters. Nice D mint Lincolns, fewer nice P Lincs. Lots of FS Jeffersons, but invariably they had chatter. Quite a few nice Sacs, a few nice dimes, a lot of clean Kennedys, but many were not fully struck up on the cheek. All in all, the sets I went thru were better than in recent years. mdwoods

the convex side a few years back. Perhaps with the newer coins it
might be easier to look at the reverse sides first. With most of the
older moderns nice clean reverses are easy, it's the obverses and the
strikes which knock most coins down.
I have not found your 7 coin proof set yet. I have a couple more boxes to go through. Just haven't had the time!
