a spinoff of the coin show security thread

how many people here have had somthing stolen from them during a coin show? I only know of one dealer that got ripped off it was about $40,000 worth of rare currency. the theif is in the process of being procecuted. other than that i don't know of anyone getting things stolen from them during a show. I'm just kinda wondering if this type of thing happens because i may make it to my first "real" show sometime this year. so far all it's been is tiny local shows.

mbbiker.. is that the same person who was charged with stealing bank notes during a show in Sheboygan, WI? If so, those charges have been dismissed. The same person is, however, still facing charges for similar charges regarding a theft at the NOW show in Iola, WI in May 2002.
