Just Completed 70 Kellogg's Football-Yeah!

My first completed set for the Registry. I wouldn't have started it if it wasn't for all the "Kellogg's" talk on this board. Great cards with great color. Now to upgrade the 9's to 10's. I guess there is no Kure to the Kellogg's virus.

    Congrats Frank. I'm at 25% myself. You've done very well considering the lack of already graded cards on the auction circuts lately. Got any dupe 9's?

    Great job Fabfrank! I really like that set because they made the cards the same way as the '70 baseball set.

    KING - yes, it's definitely a long lasting virus. Antibiotics are ineffektive on it.

    I don't think I'm going to do a Kellogg's baseball set (although I didn't think I was going to do a football set either). Being a 60 card set I felt that it would doable in 9 or better. With about a third of the set being HOF'ers, I thought it was a very undervalued set and worth pursueing.

    Bob S- I don't have any 9's, but do have some 8's available. LMK if you are interested. It took me abot 4 months to complete the set. I bought a partial set of 9's off Ebay and filled in the singles when they became available. Be patient on Ebay. One week will have few listings and the next will have over 100. Also try spelling kellogg's with and without the apostrophe when searching.

    Frank - Thank's for the tips. I've managed to get to where I'm at just in the past 45 days or so. I guess what I meant is that the # of FB cards at any given time is very weak compared to baseball. I'm going to stick with 9's and 10's, but thanks for the offer on the 8's.
