I felt that this deserved a thread of its own considering all the hard work you've put into it. Do I get the first one off the press???? image

Cheers,

Bob

BTW...Did you manage to get pictures of every slab?

ttt ... as the proud contributor of scans of a slab conder did not have, I, too, am looking forward to the book. What say you, conder?image

Way ahead of you guys. I have Conder book. Conder was a great guy and for helping him in his research I got a copy of his book. It was a year ago and I would imagine the book is much bigger now.

  • The text is finished, I inserted the last of the scans that I think I would be able to come up with within a reasonable time yesterday, the final tweaking for printout still needs to be done but then it's ready for a master copy to be printed so I can sit down with the printer and start discussing terms.

The book contains approximitely 330 items. No I have not been able to get pictures of everything but I do have pictures of about 310 of them with pictures both front and back. The book is about 430 pages in length and contains around 660 pictures. It occupies 150 megabytes of room on my hard drive. As I have time I am hyperlinking all of the files together to create a version that can also be distributed via CD-ROM, probably in PDF format.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is the subject of Conder's book? Thanks. Rick

    RKKay,

Conder has put much time and effort in "slab" research. This will prove to be very useful and informative.

    Cheers,

    Bob
