I found a 95-S nickel in the till yesterday.

It has certainly seen better days. There are serious slide marks over the portrait and a rim ding, but the fields are still mirror like and the cameo is still noticable. That's what caught my eye. Somebody's been breaking out his proof-sets I guess. I'd never buy a coin like that, but I didn't mind trading one nickel for another to get it.image

I,ve been searching nickel rolls lately and the other day I found 2 1943 P Jeffs. One amazingly is EF40 easy. The other only a G4.Sorry to say no 3/2 or double eye on the EF,but EF!!!Wow.PCI would call it AU50 probably.
    No Proof Jeffs here yet.image
  • Wow! I haven't found a war nickel in a roll since I was a kid. Congratulations! And for one to be in such good shape, too! When I was a kid, that was the easiest way to pick 'em out. The wear was different, and they had a darker color. Then I'd turn it over and sure enough the big mint mark would be there hovering over the dome.image I have gotten a few in change, but none in bankrolls.
