I was cruising through the mints web site and was floored when i saw
this......
why on earth would anyone pay $35.00 for $20.00 face value for these
Aren't they still minting these by the boatloads, get em at the bank for free?
2 mint rolls of kennedy halves for $35.. what am I misunderstang here ?

no there not being made anymore, and you can't get them from the bank.

The 2002 halves (like the 2002 Sacs) are being made only in small quantities for collectors. If it turns out we need more of either denomination this year, then they'll make 2003s for circulation.

That's nothing! They didn't print ANY $2 or $50 bills in 2002.
