Let's see, new member selling, new member bidding. Exact coin in another auction. Maybe it is just me, but something does not seem right. FWIW, the first auction just closed and the reserve was meant so this coin is sold. Better keep an eye on the other one.

I just emailed the seller who's auction just ended. I am pretty certain that he is the legitimate seller of this dollar. I told him to change his pic to something else signifying to potential bidders of the scam auction that this is indeed a scam. A pic of Homer Simpson would be nice lol image

This is strange. For the auction that closed, the seller is "onereg". She is the person I purchased the 1897 Barber dime advertised as MS-65 that some of us have been discussing in another thread. Some members felt the dime was overgraded and misrepresented. I have decided to return the dime. We've exchanged emails today and she has said no problem on the return.

This is probably off-topic, but just wanted to point it out.

several days ago i saw an auction for a mixed group of mercury and roosevelt dimes but the picture was of a pile of mercury dimes only,a much larger group of dimes in number than he was offering...

just today i saw the very same picture in a different auction for mercury dimes only...

apparently, the dumkoph with the mixed group took a fancy to the picture and just couldn't resist using it to try to sell his dimes...
