GreySheet Price for 1918/7-D Buffalo Nickel?

I have been looking for a 1918/7-D buffalo nickel in F to VF. Coin world trends show $2050 in VF, but all I find are priced considerably higher. Can someone tell me what the greysheet bid and ask are for this coin?

Thanks, Charlie

Good luck finding one anywhere near GS Charlie. More than likely you will have to pay full retail to get one.

    Charlie,

Goose is correct, you will not find a nice example without paying a sizeable premium over greysheet. And as far as trends pricing goes, this coin has moved up in the cdn sheets several times this year. Trends pricing has not kept up very well in the Buffalo Nickel series, especially on key-date's.

If you're lucky you can find an attractive one at Greysheet, at least you could a year ago. I bought a PCGS F12 that had very high end eye appeal off ebay for slightly under Greysheet and sold it a few months later for slightly over Greysheet. Good luck.
