Question of the day: Do pinstripes add a premium to jersey cards?

I mean say it's from a Yanks home jersey, almost every card is gonna have a stripe, what's with people wanting 1.5x bv because of the stripe? Since the stripes are so close together isn't there the same chance that it wouldn't have a stripe? Do you see Beckett having a 1.5x multiplier for stripes? But they do for patches. Your thoughts......

  • If I was trading it, I would ask for a premium...If I was trading for it, I would laugh at them....

I don't think so...multi-color jersey's of 3 or more colors I would ask for a premium, but not a pinstripe.

    just my .02
  • Pinstripes are very common. Close to 100% of all Randy Johnson 2-Color GU have that dang purple stripe. Big whoopy!

Just like multi-colored GU Football's I mean almost... 60%+ have "writing"

If you were the seller you would ask "Premium"? Now I know not to trade with you! Want to rip people off but not get ripped off! Traders beware of this guy! Ask for a scan of his cards before trading!

Hey Pac" you should know better then to ask that question, you disappoint me! LOL

I thought that would be easy enough to answer your self? When they say x1.5 it is for more then 2 color and that would have to be a patch of some sort!

  • Blackbird, I am only asking because someone wants premiums for their jerseys and I am letting them see the general opinion, not just mine.
  • That was joke you retard. Good Lord

  • I do not ask for premiums for my jersey cards with pinstripes, if it books $15 it books $15. If it has 3 colors or more or if it has actual patch with stitching then I would ask for a premium.

Wow! How long did it take you to find that one? LMAO

PAC' I did not mean this as you were the seller. I had a feeling that someone was trying to ask you for high end for there comon Jersey card.

  • ooooookkaaaaaaayyyyy
  • Now now children.

Anyone else want to add in their 2% of a dollar?
  • If it is from a jersey that has a lot of pinstripes, I probably won't ask for a premium since most would be two colors, but if it is three or more color or patch I would.

nope...the whole pacers jersey is covered in stripes...
  • Nope. Those days are over for pinstripes to carry a premium. Think about a jersey. A pinstripe is separate buy an inch or 2 and extends down the entire jersey. So, with that in mind, think how common a pinstripe is.
  • That is a piece of the comon Jersey!
