Those small, electronic jewelers devices used to vibrate and clean diamonds and rings (and such) are also a popular tool when accompanied with Windex or a 50/50 solution of Jeweluster.
From what I hear, "Windex" must be used and not the generic off-brand, although I'm not sure why.
Education and informed Collectors is the best defense against being taken and defrauded.

Me too! I wonder if some of us could put together a picture gallery of different coins before and after they've been "treated"? Or, perhaps one already exists on the internet. It might help to see what the changes are.
