Thanks for the info. Holy cow, its sounds so legitimate.

  • Amazing.

This is the 3rd one in as many months I believe. There was also an ebay one which was very good facsimile. Surprising they don't do anything to shut down these sites faster and then prosecute the scammers.

Ebay ahas stated it is not worth their time! Too many to go after. Ha!
  • There have been a few different Paypal related scams.

I believe the safest thing to do is to login to Paypal and make a transaction there. It may take a little longer and you may lose some convenience, but you will keep your money.

  • I have not received one of these, but when I logged into paypal last week, they ask me to update my telephone information at work and home. That is a first for me.

These happen all the time. I have reported them to Ebay many times. Most times, they already know. They do all they can, but anyone can fake an email. Hope no one falls for it.

I reported it to paypal late last night over the phone and the email they told me to send it to was accessviolation@paypal.com, so if anyone else gets any, that is where you can send them to.

Now, a question for littlewicher......since the email address you mention was mine, how on earth does someone use my email address to send me crap like that without me knowing it?

The web page has already been disabled. I just tried to view the source and the page would not load. Maybe because flytoohigh put F_CK Y_U in there and it made the person mad. imageimageimage Anyway, that's about it for now. I have to go to work. Have a nice day everyone.
  • Thanx for taking the time.I appreciate it. Twowood

It still loads for me with your e-mail addy listed.
  • Thanks for the warning. I'm also starting to despise paypal for a little bit....just because of their fees they take out when taking in credit card payments. Oh well, it does make online auction buying a whole lot faster and easier.

This one has been disabled, but there are plenty of other scams out there. Be aware!
