I think you would have to prove NGC was the responsible party for the print, otherwise, I don't think you'd get much support there. Depending on how strong the print is, and whether or not it has been "etched" into the coins' surfaces.....NCS may or may not be able to help. I'm not sure I could have non-answered your questions any better this morning
*it's only a couple of bucks for NCS to review the coin and make a decision on whether or not they can remove the print. Depending on the value of the coin, it may be worth sending over to them, for a look see, at minimum.
<< <i>Bob, I would try NGC first - they might be willing to take care of it for you at no charge. If not, you could later try the NCS route. Good luck. >>
That's right. They did so with me on a fingerprinted Ike dollar. No cost whatsoever and the Ike was currated and placed in a new holder. Postage was my only cost. They did an excellent job too.

Thanks. Kinda thought I'd have to prove it. It definately would be worth a couple of bucks.
Mike,
Good idea...should have thought of that one right off the bat.
Cheers,
Bob
Otherwise NCS does great work.
