It would be cool if we could do this with coins to see were they have been.

I just got a couple one dollar bills this weekend that someone wrote "enter my serial # www.wheresgeorge.com" on the bottom of the bill, so I thought I would check it out.

Sorry this don't have nothing to do with coins. I just thought it was interesting and thought maybe others on the forums would too.

These guys have been doing this with dollar bills for several years now. I've found
a few of them myself.

The neat thing about coins is that you can do the same thing except you can only
make inferences about where it's been and make statistical statements about it's
life. Looking closely at he wear can speak volumes about it's past circulation.

I got a $1 bill with the wheresgeorge.com on it and logged it on to the site with the place I spent it. Looked like the last person had come into the area for the amusement park last summer.
