I'm about to bid on a British coin from a seller in the UK, my first Int'l purchase.
Any tips,warnings, suggestions? Twowood

Have never bought from them. I have never had a bad transaction with a British dealer. You may want to post this on the World and Ancient Coin Forum, the darkside, someone over there, namely wybrit, may have had dealings with them.

I'm pending a transaction completion with a fellow in Brazil, send him the M.O. airmail, and 35 days later it hasn't arrived, and hasn't been 'cashed'.

He was willing to accept US dollars in payment, and the shipping was reasonable, but I can't seem to get the payment to him.

I guess I'll stop payment on the moneyorder, and resend but is registered mail any better internationally?

Paypal and bidpay work real well for international. You can even pay in pounds for the UK. I have bought lot of stuff from across the pond and have never had a problem.
