would you take a second look if this coin was on the bourse or in an auction?

pcgs ms 65 barber half 1909 with monster booming cartwheel lustre
a super nice 65 with a 66 reverse
a so called common date gem barber half....................
also what makes this coin exceptional in my minds eye is that it is a totally original undipped thick skinned coin and the real kicker is that it is WHITE!!!
now what do you think? would you give this coin a second look if on the bourse or in an auction??

The luster alone on that Barber would blind me. A common date Barber in gem brilliant condition is an aberration.

I like the coin a lot. I also like the Barber design (although I do not collect many of them). She will definitely have her day.

Hey Lucille - look we're groupies!
On a different note, Michael - the biggest reason that I've stayed away from Barbers is simply that they tend to be prohibitively (for me) expensive. I don't mind forking out a couple of hundred here or there for an example of a coin, or once in a blue moon considerably more, but when you're looking to put a set together that's going to drain the finances like the Barber series does, well, I think I'd rather remain a groupie of the baldheaded non-prez
