Scanner Settings for PSA Set Registry

I was told that you were limited to a certain amount of computer space per upload to the registry.

I think from my settings I was using a 80 Compression to get it up.

What are the optimum settings that others use to make it look good when posting slabs?

    Dale,

I run my scanner at 100 dpi.

    Is there an optimum setting?

I did the 200 dpi at 67% compression and it looked better.

What is the best setting that the registry can take?

    Carlos:

I hope that you are doing better.

There is not a day that I don't thing about your condition.

My dad and brother had cancer at the same time back in 1994.

My dad had brain - liver - lung cancer and died.

My brother had non-hodgkins lymphoma, took treatmet and has been cancer free for 8 years.

Last year my wife had breast cancer, but it's under control.

    My prayers are with you.

    Dale,

Try to load one of your cards that you scanned at 200/67% and see if it takes. If not, try 100 dpi.

Thanks for your thoughts...I will be heading to Columbus in a few weeks to see a specialist, and then I will start treatments at the Cleveland Clinic soon thereafter.

Oops I forgot...The amount of space per file/photo is 100K.

Hey I finally got some pictures up.They don't look bad but not so great either.

In PaperPort I'm taking the pictures down to 80 Resolution and 67 compression and when they get to documents I'm opening them with PhotoImpact where the image properties attributes say:

    Width- 239 Hight - 406 pixels Size 285 KB

File size - JPEG file interchange says 13,376

Hopefully by the 30th scan I'll get rid of the boarderline blur and distortion.

All I did with this card was not lower the resolution to 80.I left it at 200.Looks better but alittle too big.Maybe 100 for the next attempt?

I go with 100 dpi, and 85% . Tpg file is only about 27k. You could easily go 100 dpi and 100% and still get in under the 100k limit.

I need that 69 Bench ASimage

I just uploaded a 150 dpi/80 compression and it fits the screen without you having to scroll left/right/up/down to view the entire card.
