Die states in business and proof 1868 3CS

I've got a 3CS specialist question that I need help on.
I reviewed 3-1868 3CS. Two are certified as proofs (Undoubtedly so) and one as a MS (think so but not 100% certain). All come from the same obverse die as judged by a die crack from innermost part of the right shield outline to the outline of the star. I tried to look in Breens two books ( Encyclopedia and Proof book). He does not comment on whether one of the 3 obverse proof dies was used for business strikes. If any of you have 1868 business strikes could you look for the identifying mark, identify a key person to contact or send me a reference, I would appreciate it.
Incidentally , there is not, to my knowledge, a good trime reference book.
Hoping that some one can steer me on this one!

Great idea, I had done this before the post but the pics didn't have the resolution to tell.
I just thought by chance that I could uncover a board member who has some special experience in an understudied coin series.
