Is there a book for

Grading MS and Proof Coins? I don't have a problem with circulated coins but when it comes to MS coins i can't tell the difference between a 63 and a 65 and i know that's not a good thing so i was wondering if there is a book i could buy that would help me grade Unc coins. I know nothing beats holding graded coins in your hand and comparing differences but i don't have access to very many slabbed coins, just the ones i buy.

PCGS grading guide and the ANA grading book are great, but as you say, nothing beats looking
at slabs. Here is what I recommend.

    1. Look at as many certified coins at shows and at shops as possible. (PCGS/NGC/ANACS only).
    2. Take the ANA grading correspondence course. There is also a book/video called Grading Mint
State Coins. Contact the ANA. It is priceless.

Let us know how it goes.

    Happy holidays,
    Brian.
