Do not know what to make of this mish-mash, but the 1954 PR Jeff deserves a second look (who were we supposed to call to involve homerunhall to eyeball a coin? Anyone tuck that away?) And, the 1964 is a mystery as well. Also, I have a couple of overgraded coins, I suspect: LINK. All coins are Jeffs, but the last, which is a Buff. My pre-submission grade guesses are listed in parenthesis:
1950 Environmental damage (corrosion or laquered) (PR-65) I never saw it. May have learned a lesson here.
1951 PR-66 (PR-66) I was hoping for a CAM, but knew it was iffy.
1952 PR-65 (PR-65) Deserved. OK.
1953 PR-66 (PR-67) That flashy metallic/chromium toning on this piece.
1954 PR-67 (PR-68) A wonder coin. Never seen a Jeff with more eye appeal. Clean surfaces; great flash. Rainbow crescent on obverse, beautiful ice blue center to gold to rainbow perepheries on the reverse. A 67 my butt. homerunhall needs to see this puppy.
1956 PR-66 CAM (PR-66 CAM) Nailed one guess, at least.
1957 PR-66 (PR-67) Fresh out of proof set plastic; great coin, need to see if this hazed during five-week wait.
1958 PR-67 (PR-67) Thought this had an outside shot at 68 ..
1960 PR-66 (PR-65) A tad high on technical grade; this was submitted for the deep, and I mean deep, rainbow bullseye toning. Killer.
1964 PR-67 (PR-68 DCAM) A total mystery, unless CAMs have started to disappear during shipping/wait. homerun may need to visit this one.
1913-S Ty. 2 XF-40 (VF-30) The free quarterly, but at least they were kind enough to overgrade it.
Gee, can't wait to box up my next shipment. That '54 and '64 are totally vexing. And, I know a few things about Jeffs.
Edited to add: On the up side, seven of these submissions were freebies from hitting 90-percent-plus on sets and the free quarterly.

The point man for DH would be Charlie Kahler at ext. 141.

you really have my hopes up now!!!!!! i have 7 jeff's and a buffalo wrapped and going to the P.O. in the morning. there's a 1938, 1962, 1967, 1971, (2)1973 and a 1975 with the 1936 freebie.
the tale-of-woe regarding the 1954 reminds me of the 1953 NGC i sent in for crossover this past summer. maybe if i crack that one out it'll help the graders to see the cameo!!!

You're thinking of Sandy Locker, DH's assistant. I tried going through her, and have yet to receive a response to a detailed eMail I sent her about some issues. Charlie, OTOH, responds and follows through.
