Is NGC really worth that much less than PCGS?linky

Not in my opinion, I think they're gaining ground every day. Good luck with the auction!

The thing is ngc does not guarantee copper pcgs does.
That one is just over $103 now, with around 20 minutes remaining. It'll be interesting to see what happens at the end. I believe my coin was a bit more lustrous than that, though it might just be that those pictures make the coin look a bit darker. While I think my old PCGS coin was redder, that one looks like a pretty decent example, too.
(I just dug up a small, crummy picture of the obverse on mine, which makes it look a bit darker than it was):

Compared to the NGC coin from the link above:
(Of course, the entire difference could be in the pictures.)
Here's the only two auctions I could find in e-bay's history for PCGS 66RD's.

It looks like NGC 66RD VDB's are trading at around $80-$110. You cant tell me that either one of those PCGS 66RD's is $80/$100 better than mine. Well, you can, but I wont believe you. . I collect coins in the holder, but sometimes... you just got to buy the coin .

<< <i>I bought this one from the same seller yesterday. Are you kidding me, a coin that looks like that for only $112.50. That's a winner. I wasnting even looking to buy a VDB, especially not a NGC one. But man, if it looks that nice in person, I'll be a happy man.

Hmm... the ngc slabs have almost the same cert numbers.
Must have been made by the same person.
