Is this an Accent Hair?

I picked this up today for a type set today and after looking at it I think its a AH.

Any experts out there know for sure.

Is there a premium for these in just proof, no cam condition.

Thanks
Michael

  • Before Russ can get in, it is the Accented Hair variety. I had a good teacher.

Definitely AH, and there is a small premium for the non-cam, but not alot. Still, it's always fun to identify a variety, and get it for the price of the more common coin. Good eye.image

I think you need to send it to me for further scrutiny.

Hey, I got it right on my first try. Not bad for $7.00. A little spotty, but it should dip well. No hairlines and nothing major wrong. It's going to PCGS and hopefully I can get a 65/66 out of it.

I'm going to have to start hunting on EBays for these!

Hey, Lucy, nice Chevy, hard to tell 55 or 56, but I like it. My dad had a 57 Belair show car. Took his five years to restore it and it was beautiful. He took that car up and down the East coast to different shows.

I got his 57 Chrysler 300C when he passed, but it's still needs restoration. Wish I could finish that car.
